Sri Krishna Chaitanya Math
Goseva Ashramam

Consisting of a beautiful large temple, ashram, and goshala on 6 acres of land, the Goseva Ashramam is located near Srikakulam district, around 70 kilometers from Visakhapatnam. The Math has been maintaining a large Goshala for more than a decade, taking care of nearly 500 Desi cows with great respect and devotion.

Project Vision: As a practitioners of Sanatana Dharma, protecting and worshiping Gomata has been the core virtue of Goseva Ashramam. The protection and service of cows (go-rakṣa and go-sevā) holds a place of paramount importance in Vedic culture, especially within the Vaishnava and broader Hindu traditions. The cow is considered sacred (go-mātā, “mother cow”) because of her gentle nature and her role in providing sustenance in the form of milk, ghee, yogurt, and other products that are essential in spiritual practices.
